The End Begins
High school. A roller coaster ride of a lifetime.
Approximately two more months and the monotonous routines I had come to know will come to an end. The never ending share of stories about boys and crushes and friends with the people I know for as long as I can remember will soon become a memory; how we cram for surprise and announced quizzes; those moments of going out of the class room only to tell confidential experiences and gossips. I will no longer hear the voice of my loudest and most persistent alarm clock, my mother. I will finally walk through the threshold attuned to the graduation march.
Approximately two months after my graduation, my life will drastically change. My journey will begin anew, like a butterfly breaking out of its cocoon. New peers to encounter and new memories to make; new places to explore and new surroundings to be familiarized; new endeavors to venture and new risks to take. I will be the Alice in a new wonderland.
Every end is a new beginning. Something has to die first before it becomes anew like a seed planted into the ground, a seedling will soon sprout; when something ends, something new begins. Life is an intricate weave of beginnings and endings, we just need to make it all worth the while.
